Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled coil tester at our facility in Mississippi. The role focuses on testing coils for leaks using dedicated equipment, following safety and quality procedures.

You will prepare and set up tooling, assemble plugs, apply pressure, submerge and inspect coils for leaks, and document repair actions and findings. The candidate must be a certified brazer, willing to learn improvements and adapt to changing procedures in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified brazer.
• Ability to operate and set up testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test coils to comply with safety, quality and methods procedures.
• Set up and operate testing equipment for leak detection of copper, brass and cupro-nickel.
• Assemble vent and drain plugs; apply pressure and submerge to check for leaks.
• Repair leaks and record data.
• Identify required tooling and inspect coils prior to test.
