Ingersoll Rand is seeking an experienced CNC Machine II for the Alsip, IL location on the 2nd shift. The role requires strong reading of blueprints, tight tolerance work, and a proven mechanical aptitude in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC maintenance experience.
• 3+ years navigating CNC controls including OSP, Fanuc, Haas controls.
• 3+ years troubleshooting/repairing and training others on turret alignment, spindle/motor replacements, and other machine components rebuilds.
• 3+ years repairing and installing various voltages for CNC equipment.
• 3+ years designing and implementing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• 3+ years identifying, developing and performing required maintenance on CNC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Work: machine setup, running parts, and preventive maintenance (PM).
• Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations or operate other equipment as needed.
• Update and maintain visual controls; support countermeasures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Participate in SMED, Kaizen events, and 5 Whys problem solving.
• Resolve or report equipment abnormalities.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure personal and team safety; recognize unsafe practices.
