Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a CNC Machine Specialist in Alsip, IL for first shift. You will lead machining operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and train junior machinists to ensure quality and efficiency on CNC turning and milling processes.

Required five years of CNC experience with strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills. Competitive pay includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and starting wage of $31.24 per hour, with full-time benefits and union context.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years' CNC turning, milling, grinding and gear manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a fixture or work creatively without one.
• Determine gages necessary to support the process.
• Use shop math effectively. Makes recommendations for changes to drawings or GD&T.
• Can create content, lead and teach.
• Works independently or with a team on root cause analysis; drive changes.
