Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor for the 2nd shift in El Monte, CA. The role supervises CNC milling and turning operations, leads machinists, and ensures on-time delivery with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years CNC experience, 3+ years of supervisory leadership, and strong setup/troubleshooting skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; on-site, M-F 3:30 PM–12:00 AM. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop setting.
• Strong hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes, including setup and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily machining operations within the machine shop, including CNC milling and turning work.
• Perform and support complex CNC setups and program adjustments directly at the machine.
• Monitor production flow to ensure jobs are completed on schedule and meet quality expectations.
• Train, coach, and supervise machinists to improve performance, consistency, and safety practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and support smooth workflow.
• Inspect parts and verify conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Track tooling conditions, machine performance, and material usage to reduce downtime and waste.
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on efficiency, safety, and product quality.
