Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members during the 2nd shift, ensuring productivity targets are met.
• Oversee CNC machine operations, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce safety standards and protocols across the shop floor, promoting a culture of safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Interpret manufacturing documents such as technical drawings, work orders, and process instructions to ensure accurate execution.
• Utilize measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and quality of machined parts according to specifications.
• Manage inventory levels within the manufacturing area, including forklift operation for material movement and warehouse organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance workflow.
• Ensure proper use of power tools and manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and mechanical assembly tasks.
• Maintain detailed production records, logs, and reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for enhancement.
• Collaborate with management to optimize manufacturing processes, implement new procedures, and support team development.
