Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in an aerospace machining environment. You will directly supervise shift personnel, perform first article inspections, assist with machine set-ups, and run production equipment as needed.

The role requires independent problem solving and adherence to aerospace quality standards. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, meeting daily production goals, and maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in CNC machining or aerospace manufacturing; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with first article inspection and low-volume production runs is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift production personnel to meet daily production and quality goals.
• Oversee limited, low-volume production runs and allocate coverage across machines and operators.
• Perform first article inspections to verify parts against prints before full production release.
• Assist with machine set-ups and changeovers to minimize downtime between jobs.
• Operate CNC machines as needed to cover open positions or support training.
• Identify and resolve production problems, driving root cause and corrective action.
• Communicate shift status and hand-off information clearly to the incoming shift and Plant Manager.
