Job summary

GE Aerospace in Loves Park, IL seeks a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations for ~20 hourly employees. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery across machining, assembly and lab functions, while coaching the team to achieve performance targets.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, lean manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus professional manufacturing experience.
• Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment with daily operations.
• Experience driving safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for 2nd shift to meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Supervise ~20 hourly employees across machining, assembly, and lab operations.
• Coach, develop and motivate the team to improve performance and engagement.
• Collaborate with production planning to meet schedules and customer commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement and root-cause problem solving across lines.
