Job summary

Eaton's Sherman, TX facility is seeking a Primaries Operator for 2nd shift to run CNC equipment and fabricate components to prints. Salary is $26.28/hour plus $1.20/hour shift differential.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm–10:30pm and Friday 12:00pm–8:30pm. You will set up and operate turret, brake, power press, or laser machines as applicable, load materials, and ensure first article and in-process inspections are performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.
• Mechanically inclined, ability to run machine independently.
• Excellent work ethic. The ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Be willing to train any of the essential functions to others.
• Must obtain a forklift certification and become proficient at operating powdered industrial trucks to handle incoming and outcoming materials for machine.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment for fabrication of products.
• Set up, understand, and proficiently operate applicable CNC controlled equipment. (May include Turret, Brake, Power Press, or Laser).
• Load and unload raw material and remove finished parts from the machine. This may involve operating powdered industrial trucks or using other material-handling and lifting equipment.
• Perform first article and in-process inspection of parts to prints.
• Perform all tooling or die changes.
• Troubleshoot equipment as necessary; understand root cause issue and fix when within skill level; perform minor preventive maintenance functions.
• ID and tag product with shop orders. Retrieve/enter data into system.
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
