Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Primaries Operator on the 2nd shift in Sherman, TX. The role offers an hourly rate of $26.28 with a $1.20 shift differential. Primary responsibilities include operating CNC equipment, loading materials, and performing inspections to prints.

Candidate requirements include a high school diploma, ability to read blueprints, forklift certification within 3 months, and willingness to work overtime. SAP experience and strong math skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered; Sherman, TX residents only.
• Mechanically inclined; able to run machine independently.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to train any essential functions to others.
• Forklift certification within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Set up, understand, and proficiently operate CNC controlled equipment (turret, brake, power press, or laser).
• Load and unload raw material and remove finished parts from the machine.
• Perform first article and in-process inspection of parts to prints.
• Perform tooling or die changes.
• Troubleshoot equipment; perform minor preventive maintenance.
• ID and tag product with shop orders; retrieve/enter data into system.
• Participate in 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
