Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies seeks a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Operator in Grand Rapids to run CNC machines, read blueprints, and verify tolerances for high-precision parts. You will maintain logs, ensure clean, safe work practices, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on machine operation, attention to detail, and teamwork while adhering to safety standards and quality procedures. The team values craftsmanship and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years CNC machine experience in a production environment.
• Experience with Mazak DMG Mori, or Hurco machines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for your full shift.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines including loading, unloading, and de-burring parts.
• Perform machining operations using hand tools and precision gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tolerances.
• Perform daily cleaning, light maintenance, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate machine logs and documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance, tool wear, lubrication levels, and chip removal.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Continuously improvement —making work better and faster.
