Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Grand Rapids is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our growing team. You will work with advanced CNC equipment to produce high-precision machined parts for aerospace and defense applications.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing setups, and maintaining logs with a strong emphasis on safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. This permanent full-time position includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years CNC machine experience in a production environment.
• Experience with Mazak DMG Mori, or Hurco preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for your full shift.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines including loading, unloading, and deburring.
• Perform machining operations using hand tools and precision gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and tolerances.
• Perform daily cleaning, light maintenance, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate machine logs and documentation.
• Monitor equipment performance, tool wear, lubrication levels, and chip removal.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Continuously improvement —making work better and faster.
