Job summary

BluePrint Automation Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in South Chesterfield, VA. This full-time role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and performing setup and operation of mills and lathes. Candidates should have a high school diploma with CNC Certification and 1–3 years in a machine shop.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma plus CNC Certification; 1–3 years in a machine shop
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances
• Knowledge of G and M codes, setups, canned cycles, and work offsets
• Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and indicators
• CNC programming is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Plan machining by studying work orders, drawings, and specs
• Program mills and lathes and set up tooling and fixtures
• Maintain quality by measuring and inspecting parts to spec
• Ensure safe operations and proper maintenance of equipment
• Document actions and communicate across shifts
• Follow fabrication procedures and provide feedback on programming or setup
