Job summary

Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor to lead CNC machining teams in Richmond, IL. You’ll guide Laborers and Machinists, ensure procedures are followed, and maintain delivery timelines while coordinating with site and corporate leaders.

You will start on the 1st shift for onboarding, then transition to the permanent 3:00 pm–1:30 am shift. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and timely documentation in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years CNC experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership/management in manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain forklift and overhead crane certifications.
• Hands-on background producing with steel and machining.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run optimal daily workflows aligned to the business plan.
• Mentor, motivate, and lead a high-performing team.
• Own safety: write and enforce procedures and training programs.
• Oversee heavy equipment operation and accurate reporting.
