Job summary

EIMCo is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist/Set Up for the 2nd shift at our Farley, IA site. Responsibilities include setting up jobs, running CNC equipment, testing after new programs, and ensuring parts meet specifications. You will document production activity and maintain clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification includes a mechanical background, CNC experience, and crane certification. Prior ERP system experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of industrial or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Crane certification is required.
• Formal education or experience may be substituted with training when competency in the position is demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Check machine assignment with the lead person and discuss job details.
• Discuss machine performance with operators from the preceding shift and note any difficulties.
• Produce parts on CNC machines according to specifications and production requirements.
• Set up parts for different production jobs and test machines after new programs are set up.
• Unload and package parts according to EIMCo standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily records (date, time, quantities, scrap) in Shop Travelers and ERP.
