Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Aerospace CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift in Middletown, CT. The role involves setting up CNC milling and lathe machines, editing programs, and ensuring aerospace quality with precision measurement instruments.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and planning teams to maintain continuous improvement and efficiency. A high school diploma and 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in CNC machining, aerospace preferred.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and setup sheets.
• Proficient in setup, operation, and troubleshooting of CNC mills and lathes.

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, milling, or lathe equipment following technical drawings and setup sheets.
• Translate customer engineering drawings and specifications into manufacturing steps.
• Inspect first-piece output, tools, and parts using precision instruments to meet aerospace standards.
• Edit programs, adjust tooling, and resolve machine or process issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production planning teams.

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace CNC Machinist to join our 2ND SHIFT precision manufacturing team.

Working with advanced CNC milling and lathe equipment, you will execute complete machine setups, edit programs, fine-tune tooling, and proactively troubleshoot operational or process issues to ensure optimal efficiency and continuous improvement.

salary: $62,400 - $63,400 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, milling, or lathe equipment following technical drawings and setup sheets.
• Translate customer engineering drawings and specifications into logical manufacturing steps.
• Inspect first-piece output, tools, and parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators) to meet strict aerospace standards.
• Edit programs, adjust tooling, and resolve machine or process issues to ensure continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production planning teams.
