Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Danville, KY is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for 2nd shift. You will read engineering prints, set up and operate CNC machines, troubleshoot processes, and use precision metrology to ensure part quality. The role includes a 2.00 USD per hour shift premium and a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:30 p.m.

to 11:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years in CNC manufacturing, and familiarity with Fanuc/Siemens controls.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in machine technology preferred.
• Years' Experience: 2–4 years in relevant experience.
• Able to read manufacturing prints, use measuring tools, and set up/adjust CNC processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3-axis vertical mills and horizontal mills with proper fixturing.
• Load NC programs and adjust offset tables; maintain and replace cutting tools.
• Document in-process QA data to ensure production system requirements.
