Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training desirable.
• 1–3 years machinist experience required; aerospace experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machining problems to keep parts in spec.
• Capable of reading instructions, safety rules, and procedures.
• Able to use hand tools (grinders, belt sanders, drills) and basic math.
• Punctuality and attendance compliance essential.
• Good collaboration with engineers, program managers, and quality staff.
• Safety and quality oriented with responsibility on production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines including CNC mills, lathes, grinders per specs.
• Use calibrated tools to verify parts meet specifications.
• Complete required paperwork and checklists.
• Interface with toolmakers, engineers, program managers, and quality personnel to resolve problems.
• Maintain safety and quality in all tasks.
