Job summary

Dover Corporation in Jenks, Oklahoma is seeking a CNC Machinist for the 2nd shift to set up and operate numerically controlled equipment producing precision parts. You will follow blueprints, load programs, and monitor tooling and machine performance to ensure parts meet exacting tolerances.

Responsibilities include maintaining ERP transactions, performing adjustments, and training others as required while complying with ISO procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Must be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Installs tooling on numerically controlled equipment to machine parts to exacting tolerances.
• Follows program instructions, diagrams for setting fixtures, outlining tooling and sequence of operations for setup.
• Selects and loads appropriate part programs for machine runs.
• Maintains accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
• Makes needed adjustments to equipment and programs.
• Loads, unloads parts to and from machine and monitors operations to assure proper machine functioning to finish parts.
• Checks parts periodically during operations to verify conformance to specifications using prescribed precision measuring devices.
• Assists in maintaining and servicing of equipment as directed.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• May train other employees and help in other departments as required.
• Follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions.
