Job summary

PrecisionX Group is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in the Northeast region. You will operate CNC lathes and mills, set tool offsets, and monitor production cycles to ensure high-quality parts.

The ideal candidate has experience with precision measuring instruments, reads blueprints, and applies GD&T principles. Safety-minded and capable of collaborating with engineering and QA to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; further certifications preferred.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and QA tools.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and blueprints; GD&T knowledge.
• Willingness to learn CNC tooling and machining practices.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, mills, and other CNC equipment.
• Configure machine settings by adjusting tool offsets per production requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure productivity and quality throughout the cycle.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control to address issues.
• Analyze technical drawings and specifications to determine machining processes.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment with QA personnel.
