Job summary

Zenix Aerospace Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist III for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) at the Jet Products facility. The role involves setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and VTLs to produce precision aerospace components.

You will interpret blueprints, apply GD&T, and use precision measuring tools to verify tolerances. A 4-year CNC background is required; 2nd shift offers a 5% differential pay, with competitive benefits and ITAR compliance in a dynamic aerospace

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4 years CNC setup/operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines per blueprints and work orders.
• Mount, align, and secure tooling and work-pieces on machine chuck.
• Monitor machines and diagnose malfunctions; perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure finished parts meet dimensional tolerances and specifications.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
