Job summary

Zenix Aerospace Jet Products in San Diego, CA is seeking a CNC Machinist III for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm, Mon-Fri). You will set up and operate CNC machines (Lathe, Mill, VTL) to produce precision metal parts per blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities include tooling setup, process monitoring, and ensuring tolerances with GD&T. A high school diploma and 4 years of CNC experience are required; strong reading of drawings and tool control are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• 4 years CNC set up and operation experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC machine controls to position tools and regulate cutting parameters to produce precision parts.
• Mount, align and secure tooling and workpiece on machine chuck; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Inspect finished parts with precision measuring devices; ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain machine and perform routine checks; communicate issues and cooperate with maintenance.
