Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Machinist for 1st shift in Delavan, WI. You will set up, gauge, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills, including full tooling and fixturing setup to maintain tight tolerances.

You will read drawings, use gauges and precision measurement tools, monitor coolant levels, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate on process improvements. The role offers $30.00-$32.00/hr DOE, first shift 6:00am-2:00pm, and a $1,000 hiring bonus with 6-month/90-day vesting,

Qualifications

You will set up, gage, and run production on castings using CNC lathes or mills, including full tooling and fixturing setup, precision measurement, and machining operations to maintain tight tolerances. Candidates with limited experience, but strong mechanical aptitude and the right attitude are encouraged to apply!

You will:

• Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, grove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts
• Set-up machines where detail and operating procedures are standardized and obvious
• Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools and refractometer
• May be required to read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check work
• Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of CNC machining experience required
• MS Office Suite experience
• Must have GD&T and print comprehension and understand shop math
• Must be able to multi-task to keep production running smoothly

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 30lbs. Steel toed shoes are required on the distribution floor.

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

1st shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday Occasional mandatory overtime required

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $30.00 - $32.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

**HIRING BONUS**

$1000 Hiring Bonus - The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment. This amount will be subject to repayment in full if your employment with Pentair terminates at any time within one year of your hire date.
