Ms Companies, LLC is hiring a CMM Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM) in Wichita, KS. You will ensure the quality and integrity of data from CMM programs used to verify product conformance to customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience operating a stationary CMM.
• Working knowledge of PC-DMIS software.
• Comfort applying advanced mathematics with specifications and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Coordinate Measuring equipment to measure component dimensions against specified requirements.
• Install and run CMM programs to support production and draw sketches in CAD/CATIA.
• Review drawings and digital models to determine dimensions and tolerances for each part.
• Set up and run CMM inspections: select programs, calibrate probes, position parts, and record measurements.
• Compare results to specified dimensions and note discrepancies.
• Run manual checks to verify results and document non-conforming conditions.
• Perform general maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Assist with setup and cross-training, and participate in process improvements.
