Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center – LCH Environmental Services is seeking a full-time environmental services teammate for 2nd shift. The position entails performing routine cleaning in assigned areas, remaking beds after discharge cleaning, and maintaining floors, fixtures, walls and other surfaces according to a 7-step process.

Hours: 40 per week. Compensation ranges from $18.85 to $28.30 per hour, with benefits eligibility and on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
• Related experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in assigned area, follows a 7-Step cleaning process and bed remaking after discharge cleaning.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment.
• Empties trash, wipes and relines containers; operates compactor if necessary.
• Replenishes disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings to original locations after completion of job.
• Performs all methods of floor care including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing and extraction.
