Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Cleaner for a distribution/fulfillment center in Ontario, CA. The role involves cleaning, floor care, dusting, and maintaining a safe, presentable facility. Shift is 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM with weekends required as needed.

ABM will support badgeing and background checks for Amazon locations, with a temp-to-perm opportunity. Safety footwear is required (steel toe shoes); ABM provides steel toe covers.

Job description

Our client, a distribution/fulfillment center, is seeking a Cleaner to join their team. As a Cleaner, you will be part of the Operations team supporting daily facility readiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow cleaning procedures consistently, and the flexibility to complete all assigned tasks which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What's the Job?

• Clean and maintain an assigned area, supporting a safe and orderly environment.

• Maintain carpets and hard surface floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.

• Dust and clean surfaces including furniture, pictures, ventilation areas, lights, and blinds.

• Empty wastebaskets and complete routine restroom and window cleaning.

• Be flexible to complete other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by a supervisor.

What's Needed?

• Willingness to work weekends as required.

• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly.

• Comfort working in a distribution/fulfillment center environment with varying cleaning needs.

• Steel toe shoes required; ABM will provide steel toe covers.

• Clothing must be clean and in good condition (no soiled, ripped, frayed, or torn items); slacks or jeans are acceptable; no shorts or tank tops.
