Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any other field and one year experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial investigations of child abuse/neglect cases and perform 2nd shift duties.
• Manage caseloads: contacts, visitation, case planning to ensure safety and well-being.
• Engage families and partners with empathy; coordinate with law enforcement and legal when needed.
• Prepare and file legal packets when action is required or EPC occurs.
• Document case activities clearly in CAPSS per DSS policy and timelines.
• Maintain compliance with DSS training, certifications, and data protection standards.
