Job summary

Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Grinder Helper to assist the Grinder in maintaining proper cheese blends on the production line. You will read blend sheets, assist with sanitation, and ensure paperwork is accurately completed, contributing to product quality and line efficiency.

The role requires the ability to read schedules, follow procedures, and work with limited supervision while maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced facility in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read production schedules and plan the workday.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blend sheets and follow instructions to standardize blending.
• Scrape mold and deposit mold in detained product tubs.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and grinder office.
• Assist Grinders and co-workers when available.
• Complete paperwork with names, line numbers, and products ran.
• Sanitize lines at start-up.
• Adhere to safety policies and the Safe Quality Food program.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
