Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC in Chicopee, MA is seeking a General Inspector to perform repetitive inspection and packing of chain products, using fixed gauges and visual checks to ensure conformance.

The role includes inspecting for length, width, radii and surface condition, preparing chains for shipment, recording production data, and supporting stringing and packaging tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant manufacturing experience may be considered.
• 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desired.
• Safety-first mindset and strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive inspection and packing of chain products using fixed gauges and visual inspection to ensure conformity to specifications.
• Inspect chain for length, width, radii and surface condition to meet specifications.
• Prepare chain for shipment and apply bar code as required.
• Record production and time data and report to Payroll.
• Maintain traceability and keep work area clean and safe.
• Assist with stringing operations and material handling as directed.
