U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is hiring for General Inspector roles on the manufacturing floor in Chicopee, MA. The positions involve chain inspection, pin sorting, stringer tasks, and general production duties essential to meeting quality standards and production schedules.

Responsibilities include repetitive inspections, packaging, and data recording. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, up to 3 years in manufacturing, and a safety-first, quality-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive inspection and packaging of chain products using fixed gauges and visually inspect for conformance to specs.
• Work from order, simple specifications, and general instructions from group leader or foreman.
• Check length, width, radii, and surface condition to meet specs; prepare chain for shipment and barcode as required.
• Inspect pins for conformity, following orders and supervisor guidance; record production data as needed.
• Stringer duties to support plate requirements for Automatic Silent Chain Assembly machines; maintain traceability and minimize contamination.
• Record production and time data; report to payroll and keep accurate logs.
• Sort and inspect materials per specifications; maintain clean, safe work areas; assist with related duties as required.
