Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is seeking a General Inspector for the 2nd shift in Chicopee, MA. The role involves repetitive inspection, packing, and quality checks of chain products using fixed gauges and visual inspection to ensure conformity to specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting chain components, pins, and strings, recording production data, and supporting early-stage production tasks to meet schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and pack chain products using fixed gauges and visual checks to ensure conformance.
• Inspect pins and chains for length, width, radii and surface condition as per spec.
• Record production and time data and report to Payroll.
• Support the production team in maintaining schedules and quality.
