Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC seeks a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm). You will clean, decontaminate, assemble and disinfect reusable instruments and ensure timely sterile supplies for the OR.

Requires CSPDT or CRCST certification and a high school diploma. Full-time position with a $5,000 commitment bonus paid in two installments; join Duke Health to support high-quality patient care and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Certification required as CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA).
• No experience required beyond certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, decontaminates, assembles, and disinfects scope trays and equipment following established tray lists and manufacturers' recommendations.
• Maintains communication with customers and departments regarding requests and delivery of sterile supplies.
• Promotes best practice by demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care.
• Performs duties to maintain unit in a survey-ready state and supports quality initiatives.
