Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, a Campus of Duke University Hospital, Raleigh, NC, is hiring a Central Sterile Processing Technician, Certified. The role focuses on cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and high-level disinfection of reusable instruments to support OR operations.

The position offers a full-time schedule on the second shift (3pm–11:30pm) with orientation provided. A $5,000 commitment bonus is available for eligible CST technicians and certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) required.
• No experience required beyond certification.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, decontaminates, assembles, and disinfects scope trays and equipment.
• Maintains communication with customers and departments regarding requests and delivery of sterile supplies.
• Ensures unit cleanliness, quality initiatives, and survey readiness; operates the instrument tracking system.
