Job summary

House of Raeford in Teachey, NC is seeking an hourly Boiler/Utility Technician on 2nd shift to maintain and troubleshoot boiler, air, water and hot water systems. You will repair pumps, motors, valves and electrical control circuits while following safety and GMP procedures.

Lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, use hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment, and coordinate with supervisors to meet production and maintenance goals. Willingness to cover other shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of P&ID drawings and electrical diagrams used for troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot digital and analog instrumentation and process valving.
• Experience with maintenance of high-pressure boiler systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair boiler, air, water and hot water systems.
• Repair pumps, motors, valves and electrical control circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks in a hot/cold, noisy environment.
