Job summary

AAF International is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (M-Th 3:30pm-2:00am) in Smithfield, NC. The role ensures plant processing and facilities equipment run at optimum efficiency daily.

Key duties include maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and proper documentation. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Journeyman competence, and preferred manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman level competence in above trade skills.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Electrical troubleshooting 24V–480V.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair processing equipment.
• Maintain and repair facilities equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing and plant equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical troubleshooting.
• Document and communicate work performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Mentor Maintenance Mechanic 1 levels.
