Job summary

Halifax Linen Service is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (electrical focus) in Roanoke Rapids, NC. The role requires diagnosing and repairing industrial electrical equipment, motors, and control systems within a busy laundry facility. You will work 3:30 PM to 12:00 Midnight and earn $32.00 per hour with strong safety practices.

Experience reading schematics and using multimeters is essential. PLC/HMI fault troubleshooting and VFD experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams; identify and repair electrical issues.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and control systems.
Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, relays, contactors, sensors, and electrical circuits.
Identify and resolve issues involving PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Use multimeters and electrical diagnostic equipment to identify and correct failures.
Respond to equipment breakdowns during second-shift production and minimize downtime.
Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential equipment failures.
Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment concerns.
Follow lockout/tagout safety procedures and company safety rules.
