Responsibilities

• Serves as a guard to make rounds during scheduled shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Maintains, operates, and inspects boiler house equipment
• Reads thermometers and gauges and interprets equipment settings
• Records readings and uses troubleshooting techniques to ensure efficient operation
• Maintains and repairs systems using repair methods and analytic instruments and tools
• Uses electrical, hydraulic, air, and mechanical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for repairs
• Supervises truck/driver during bulk fuel deliveries
• Supervises deliveries of boiler chemical treatment drums
• Knowledge of diesel fire pump operation and restart capability
• Versatile and willing to take on diverse tasks
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties assigned
