Job summary

Greif in Mount Sterling, KY is seeking a Machine Operator for 2nd shift to run a blow molding line and produce quality plastic parts in a safe, efficient manner. Qualifications

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates blow molding machines to produce quality plastic parts.
• Inspects parts for defects and monitors product quality.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety regulations.
• Logs shift activities in the Shop Floor Monitoring System and records rejects.
• Communicates with Process Tech, Plant Manager, and management about production.
