Job summary

Teknor Apex in Pawtucket, RI is seeking a Blender Operator to manage charging of hand adds, verify lot numbers and weights, and stage materials according to batch cards. You will inspect the blender between shifts and ensure readiness for the next run, reporting any deviations to supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating with other areas of operations, generating labels, performing safe packaging changeovers, and maintaining good housekeeping while meeting plant KPIs.

Qualifications

• Able to read and comprehend English.
• Good math skills.
• Experience with packaging labeling and weighing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify lot numbers and weights of raw materials and stage materials.
• Charge hand adds to the blender per batch card.
• Coordinate blender production with other areas and follow production schedule.
• Generate labels and affix to packages.
• Perform safe packaging equipment changeovers.
• Meet plant KPIs and participate in Lean initiatives.
