Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Centralized Biller for the 2nd shift to enter bills of lading into the internal inquiry system with speed and accuracy. Learn industry terms, classify freight, and communicate billing issues to service centers.

Perform audits and assist with hazardous materials billing as needed. Ideal candidates have exceptional data entry skills, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Exceptional data entry skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work late afternoons and evenings.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Enter bills of lading into Dayton Freight's internal inquiry system with speed and accuracy.
• Learn and retain industry terms related to billing.
• Familiarize with National Motors Freight Classification.
• Communicate any billing issues to the Service Centers.
• Perform audits as assigned.
• Enter proper Hazardous Materials bills as assigned.
• Assist Service Centers with billing questions.
• Identify and communicate billing issues.
• Review weekly Error Report for feedback and corrections.
