Job summary
Cirba Solutions in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Battery Sorter for the second shift to identify and sort batteries by chemistry, tape terminals, and pack batteries using bags and boxes. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a warehouse setting.
The candidate will work standing for long periods, lift and move batteries, and may operate forklifts in some locations. Training and PPE are provided as part of the job offer.
Qualifications
- Frequently lift 10–40 pounds, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
- Ensures health and safety by following warehouse safety procedures and processes.
- Identify and sort batteries by chemistry.
- Taping terminals/ends of batteries.
- Sort debris and non-conforming material.
- Store batteries and non-conforming material in drums.
- Label drums according to regulations and guidelines.
- Weigh and document material.
- General cleaning.
- Comply with environmental, health and safety regulations.
- Sit or stand for most of the shift.
- Some locations may require operating a forklift to transfer material.
- All other duties as assigned.

You will tape the terminals of the batteries and pack batteries using bags and boxes.

- Taping terminals/ends of batteries
- Sort out debris and non-conforming material
- Store batteries and non-conforming material in drums
