Cirba Solutions is seeking a Battery Sorter to identify and sort batteries by chemistry and type, tape terminals, and prepare shipments. This role focuses on safety and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Michigan.

You will handle weighty materials, operate simple equipment as needed, and support a compliant, clean workspace with attention to detail and teamwork. Shift offers 3 day weekends with OT options.

Work Schedule

Monday through Thursday - 3:30 pm to 2:00 am. We work 4 -10 hour days with optional OT. Enjoy 3 day weekends!

Opportunity for pay increases through cross training.

Attendance Bonus

$1 an hour shift differential for 2nd Shift

Role Overview

As a Battery Sorter, you will properly identify, and sort batteries based on the chemistry/type.

You will tape the terminals of the batteries and pack batteries using bags and boxes.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the number one goal by following warehouse safety procedures and processes
• Identify and sort batteries by chemistry
• Taping terminals/ends of batteries
• Sort out debris and non-conforming material
• Store batteries and non-conforming material in drums
• Label drums according to regulations and guidelines
• Weigh and document material
• General cleaning
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations
• Sit or stand for most of the shift
• Some locations may require operating a forklift to transfer material
• All other duties as assigned

Required:

• Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member
