Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Westfield, MA, is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 2 for a second shift (weekday evening). The role requires avionics installations experience and high school-level education, with FAA A&P license preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two years accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two years related experience.
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred. Other FCC preferred. NCATT preferred.

Mansioni

• Demonstrates technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Performs installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per engineering specs and maintenance manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficient installations; troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning systems.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring to meet conformity; uses splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques.
• Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests; documents all work for inspection.
