Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a Flight Test - Avionics/Elec Tech II on the 2nd shift. The role requires strong hands-on experience with avionics, flight test procedures, and troubleshooting within Gulfstream environments.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and four years in avionics/electrical fields (or two years aviation electronics schooling plus two years related experience). A&P, FCC, or NCATT preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four (4) years experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related experience.
• A&P license preferred. Other FCC preferred. Other NCATT preferred.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing and troubleshooting.
• Performs installation and functionally tests of electrical/avionics components and systems per engineering specs.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations; troubleshoots processes to provide timely repairs.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring to meet conformity; uses splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques.
• Sets up and operates test equipment; conducts functional and operational tests.
• Documents all work for inspection and maintains records.
• Follows FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety regulations; adapts to schedule changes.
• In support of certification and final phase testing, may include flight tests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
