Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment, systems and utilities in Paducah, KY. You will diagnose issues, operate automation components, and support safe production across Pre-Pack, Bulk, Cups, Sanitation, and Batching lines.

The role requires 5+ years as a maintenance technician, 2+ years with automation controls, and physical ability to lift heavy loads. On-call rotations and occasional travel are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working as a maintenance or service technician.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with automation controls equipment.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs or more regularly and to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, adjust, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant systems and components.
• Interface with CMMS to track asset condition and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor on projects to ensure safe completion.
• Troubleshoot and operate automation systems including HMI, drives, motors, PLCs.
