Job summary

J&J Snack Foods seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to keep packaging and processing equipment running safely and efficiently. You will follow SOPs, maintain the master schedule, and assist with production supervision as needed.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, conducting safety inspections, maintaining equipment, and keeping the work area orderly while supporting production teams on second/third shifts.

Qualifications

• Mechanical & Electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of VFDs, motors, electrical required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Food manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and maintenance schedules.
• Monitor product quality with respect to equipment operation.
• Perform inspections on safety equipment (ladders, fire extinguishers, sprinklers).
• Maintain equipment per the master maintenance schedule.
• Assist with supervision of production personnel.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
