Job summary

Kelly Services in Middletown, PA is hiring an Automated Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM). You will operate and monitor automated production equipment, perform basic adjustments, and help ensure safety and quality at all times.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, experience with automated or CNC equipment preferred, and the ability to read work instructions. You’ll work on a team, meet production goals, and maintain accurate records while following all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation or automated equipment experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, CNC, assembly, or mechanical experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Must be comfortable working 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated manufacturing equipment throughout the production process.
• Set up and adjust machines according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality.
• Perform routine inspections and make basic machine adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to the appropriate team.
• Load materials/components into automated equipment and remove finished products.
• Perform quality checks according to established specifications.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Meet established production and efficiency goals.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
