Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks an Associate Chemist on the 2nd shift to perform instrumental analyses (GC/FID, GC/TCD, purge and trap GC) for TPH, DRO, alcohols and related compounds, following SOPs and ensuring high-quality data. You will prep samples, maintain instruments, and review results for accuracy.

Requirements include a BS in Chemistry or related field, strong English skills, and the right to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent relevant experience in the field.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
• Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures using proper documentation.
• Performs laboratory operations with high degree of accuracy and precision.
• Document testing, observations, deviations and results clearly and in compliance with SOPs and client requirements.
• Read and understand analytical procedures and internal SOPs; use LIMS and computer systems to process data and generate reports.
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration; monitor and track sample status.
