Job summary

Liberty Diversified International in Omaha, NE is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator II to support machine operators, set up orders per customer specs, and perform quality checks. You will help with production metrics, communicate equipment issues, and assist with minor repairs alongside maintenance, while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED (or 1+ years manufacturing experience) and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or 1+ years manufacturing experience in place of education.
• Proficiency with basic math: addition/subtraction/multiplication/division.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Availability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup of orders according to customer specifications and prepare tools.
• Support machine operators during quality checks and monitor product quality.
• Track production progress and equipment downtime; communicate issues to leadership.
• Assist with troubleshooting and basic repairs with maintenance team where needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures.
