Job summary

Spectra-Tech Manufacturing in Batavia, OH is seeking an Assembler 3/Machine Operator on 2nd shift. Starting pay is $17.50/hr with Fridays off and a $500 hiring/retention bonus plus a $100/month attendance bonus. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:45am.

This role trains in production assembly and requires reading schematics and basic IPC-610 knowledge. Responsibilities include hand assembly on post-surface mount boards, identifying components, and following detailed work instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in production assembly preferred but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand assembly on post-surface mount circuit boards following written work instructions.
• Identify values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components reading diagrams.
• Read assembly drawings to identify part numbers for assembly.
• Understand IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards at a basic level.
• Utilize equipment and machines as directed by management.
• Assist in training other assemblers and perform other duties as assigned.
