Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Assembler I - 2nd Shift at our Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC. The role involves building sub-assemblies and assemblies for UPS battery cabinets, following SOPs, and ensuring components pass Raleigh Plant quality checks.

Core hours are 2:30pm–11:00pm. Candidate requires 1 year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED. Benefits include health, vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No immigration sponsorship for this position.
• Relocation assistance not available; 50‑mile radius.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and assemblies for battery cabinets per SOPs.
• Visual inspection of materials before and after assembly.
• Calibrate and use fixtures, gauges, and hand/power tools.
• Inspect finished assemblies to meet Raleigh Plant Quality standards.
• Follow safety rules and participate in 5S+ housekeeping.
